Though I started my college counseling pretty late compared to most, Tina was very helpful in narrowing down and assembling the final list of schools that I applied to. I had done quite a bit of research on my own but was very surprised with how much just a few counseling sessions helped me make some final decisions. In addition to this, Tina helped me refine what classes I was taking my senior year of high school. I had initially planned to “take it easy” so to speak, and she recommended that I change my class schedule up a bit to give me the best chance of getting into the colleges I was applying to. Without this pushing and without the insight Tina brought in regards to what schools were the best fit for me, I’m not sure I would’ve ended up where I am.
